Overview

Bani Khalid are an Arab tribe of eastern Arabia. In the eleventh and twelfth centuries AH (seventeenth–eighteenth centuries CE) they held sway over the al-Ahsa region and much of the Gulf littoral, a period well recorded in regional histories.
