Overview
Juhaynah is one of the anciently attested tribes of the Hijaz, its territories traditionally lying between Medina and the Red Sea coast. The classical proverb 'with Juhaynah is the certain news' (wa-ʿinda Juhaynata al-khabaru al-yaqīn) attests to its place in early Arabic culture.
